This wheel thrown ceramic vase is finished on one both sides in a soft ivory glaze, on one side animated by a sweeping wash of warm amber encircling a deep cobalt blue sphere and on the other side the opposite with a sweeping brushstroke in deep cobalt blue that arcs around a warm amber sphere. The painterly surfaces suggests movement and depth, drawing the eye inward to the bold central forms.

A textured, honey-toned lower band with rhythmic

impressions adds tactile contrast, grounding the fluid brushwork above with structured detail and warmth.
